Family gathering on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at HortPark.. My mum and aunt ask my gf to tag along.. So i plead and beg her to come along.. Saying that if she shame me by not going, i will put the Lamia curse on her and she will be drag to hell.. Haha :-P
Met up with gf and my sis at Outram. Introduced my gf to sis.. Exchange pleasantries.. My sis say my gf look a bit stuck up when she first saw her at Tampines mrt.. But i can see they can get along during our day together as they tag team to joke on me.. Head to Harbourfront station and took a bus to HortPark.. Can see that my gf is nervous.. First time go outing with my family.. Pacify her not to be nervous.. She won't be eaten up and i will protect her.. When we reach HortPark, i make them go Henderson Wave first instead of heading to HortPark.. Have to turn around halfway at the bridge to meet up with family members.. Gf was shocked to see the number of people that came.. Told her not to worry.. My mum won't ask her to tag along to shout at her or something.. Ate nasi lemak there.. Then after my mum and aunts do their plant shopping, head to Henderson Wave.. Very long and tiring journey for my gf.. But it was worth it.. Nice scenery and cool fresh air.. After that makan at Banquet before we went our separate ways.. Very fun and tiring day together.. Everything went well and gf did try her best to get to know my cousins and change her perception of my mum..
